Yorkshire Friends Ralliers were formed back in 2002 on the 22nd February by a group of friends that wished to return to a way of camping that seemed to have been lost.
Having obtained the necessary exemption certificate from DEFFRA, the government body responsible for issuing them to ALL camping and caravan organisations, and having purchased public liability insurance to the tune of £3,000,000 (now £5,000,000) we were up and running.
We started with 28 member units and have grown steadily ever since, gaining many more along the way and now stand at around 120+ member units, mostly gained by recommendation and living as far apart as Northumberland to Nottingham, Hull to Burnley.
